LOS ANGELES – (Wednesday, July 22, 2009) – Actor and musician Patrick Muldoon (“Starship Troopers,” “Melrose Place,” “Days of our Lives”) will host the online, comedy TV show “ACME Saturday Night”  Saturday, July 25, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. PT on www.acmecomedy.com.  The show  is recorded live in front of a studio audience at ACME Comedy Theatre in Los Angeles.

Muldoon will appear in several sketches with various “ACME Saturday Night” cast members, including: Julie Wittner, Ryan Churchill, Laura Putney, Kevin Small, Michael Schuster, Jodi Miller, Bill Kessler and Kristen Trucksess.

As the lead singer of the band The Sleeping Masses, Muldoon will additionally perform some of his original music on “ACME Saturday Night” with fellow band member Neil Ives.   “The Woman Is The Way” is one of three songs Muldoon will sing live.  The track is featured on the new Sleeping Masses CD “Become Everything” but can also be heard in the Jessica Biel / Forest Whitaker film “Powder Blue.”

Muldoon has had starring roles on popular television programs such as “Days of our Lives” and “Melrose Place.”  However, the actor is probably best known for the feature film “Starship Troopers” in which he starred opposite Denise Richards.  Muldoon will soon be seen in K-11 with Kristen Stewart.

ACME Comedy Theatre  is located  at 135 N. La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles, CA 90036.  Studio audience tickets are available at www.acmecomedy.com  for $10.00.  Tickets are $15.00 at the door the night of the show.
